What steps do you need to take- Choose plan management at your planning meeting
- When your NDIS plan is being developed or reviewed, inform the NDIA (or your Local Area Coordinator or Support Coordinator) that you wish to include plan management in your funding. It will then be added to your plan budget.
- You want a change mid-plan, request a change and contact the NDIS (via the 1800 800 110 hotline or through your LAC/Support Coordinator) to request the inclusion of plan management.
- Select and connect with a plan manager by doing some research or seek recommendations from LACs, support coordinators, friends or family.
- Once connected, you and you sign a service agreement detailing the services provided, how and for how long and you share your NDIS plan. a
- Your plan manager will then be granted access to your NDIA portal, and they will provide access once setup They’ll start handling invoice payments, budget tracking, and submitting claims on your behalf.
